All goods are supplied on our standard terms and conditions. This returns policy is in addition to our standard terms and conditions policy which is also available on our website. Please read our terms and conditions as well as this returns policy and make sure that You understand them, before ordering any Goods from our site.
This returns policy tells you, the customer (You) the terms on which You may return any of the goods (Goods) or fire doors (Fire Doors) listed on our website "www.firesealsdirect.co.uk” (our site) to Fire Seals Direct (Our / We / Us).
1. OUR RETURNS POLICY (all standard Goods)
1.1 You are entitled to return the standard Goods to Us subject to the following:
1.1.1 We agree, in Our sole discretion, that the Goods are standard and not bespoke (see clause 2 below)
1.1.2 We receive a completed returns form (found here www.firesealsdirect.co.uk/returns) within 30 days of You receiving the Goods indicating that You wish to return the Goods;
1.1.3 the Goods are received by Us within 30 days of You submitting notice under clause 1.1.2 above:
1.1.4 the Goods are i) in Our sole discretion, in a resalable condition or ii) You consider that the Goods are defective or faulty.
1.2 Upon completing a returns form as set out in 1.1.2 above, You will receive a unique Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number from Us to be included in Your return to allow Us to identify Your Goods.
1.3 Subject to clause 1.1 above, should We accept the return of Goods We will process the refund due to You as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day on which the returned Goods are received by Us.
1.4 You may return the Goods, in each case quoting Your unique RMA, to Us via the following methods:
1.4.1 If the value of Your returned Goods is above £24.00, You may request collection by Us, via our chosen courier. If the collection service is indicated in the returns form at 1.1.2 above, We will book in a collection slot. Collection is charged at £20.00 plus VAT, the cost of which will be deducted from Your refund;
1.4.2 You may return Your Goods in person to our warehouse;
1.4.3 You may arrange to return Your Goods to Us via post or a courier of Your choosing. You will be responsible for any costs associated with the return and We will not reimburse these costs.
1.5 Notwithstanding clause 1.6, should We accept the return of Your Goods, We will refund the price of the Goods in full, excluding the original delivery costs.
1.6 If upon examining the returned Goods We, in our sole discretion, deem that the Goods are in some way defective, then We will refund You in full, including the cost of original delivery and any reasonable costs You incur in returning the item to Us.
1.7 We will usually refund any money received from You using the same method originally used by You to pay for Your purchase.
